The body of Private Adolph Marchand, who died of spinal meningitis on the 26th 
ultimo at Camp Hancock, Ga., was interred in the Catholic cemetery in this city 
Monday forenoon, following services at Ascension Church. The funeral was held from 
the residence of the young man's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edmond Marchand, in Darrow, 
and was attended by many friends of the family, who share the grief occasioned by 
the untimely demise of the gallant soldier.
