CHARLES MAURIN, SR., DEAD.

Former Mayor of Donaldsonville Was Business Leader.

Donaldsonville, La., Nov. 26. - Charles Maurin, Sr., 56 years old, one of 
Donaldsonville's best known citizens, died at his home here Sunday. He served 
several terms as mayor of Donaldsonville and at the time of his death was 
president of the Home Mercantile Company. The funeral took place Monday with 
services at the Catholic Church and interment in the Catholic Cemetery. He is 
survived by his wife, one daughter, Miss Leona Maurin and three sons, Charles, 
George and Henry Maurin.
