Friends here of Mrs. Ella McMurray, who before her marriage was Miss Ella 
Gauthreaux of this city, were profoundly grieved to learn of the death of her 
husband, which occurred at 6 o'clock a. m. Friday morning of last week, the 12th 
inst., at Wax Haw, S. C., to which place the family had recently moved. Mr. 
McMurray was 54 years of age, and besides his wife is survived by a son, Landry. 
After disposing of the property left her by her husband, Mrs. McMurray will likely 
return to Donaldsonville to make her home with her mother, Mrs. Felix Gauthreaux.
