(Donaldsonville, La.) 1871-current, June 15, 1912, page 5 Death of Theodule Michel, Sr. - Theodule Michel, Sr., a native of Pointe Coupee parish, and a resident of Ascension for upwards of forty years, died at his home in Iberville street at 2 o'clock p.m. last Saturday, after an illness of several weeks, aged sixty-three years, one month and day. The funeral took place Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock, with services and interment in the Catholic church and cemetery. Mr. Michel was for many years carpenter on the Lemann Company's Peytavin plantation, and also filled the position of sugar-boiler on that place and at the Lemann Company's Belle Terre and Palo Alto factories up to a few years ago, when his advanced age and failing health compelled him to relinquish these duties. He is survived by his wife, two sons, Messrs. Laurent Michel, of Garden City, and Theodule Michel, Jr., of this place; three daughters, Mesdames Paul Dugas and Ben Marchand, of Ascension, and Ernest Lolan, of Milton, La., and one brother, Numa Michel, of Napoleonville. Sincere sympathy is extended the bereaved family.
