Cleophas Mollere, a well-known citizen of this community, died at his home in 
Churchville at 1 o'clock a. m. last Tuesday, the 17th inst., after a prolonged 
illness, aged thirty-seven years, eight months and two days. The funeral took 
place at 3:30 o'cloc (sic) Tuesday afternoon and was conducte (sic) under the 
auspices of Ascension Council No. 1087, Knights of Columbus, of which deceased 
was a member. Services were held at the Church of the Ascension, and interment 
was made in the Catholic cemetery. Mr. Mollere is survived by his wife, nee 
Marie Oubre; one child, a daughter, aged one year; his venerable mother, Mrs. 
Jean Barthelmy; two half brothers and three half sisters. To these afflicted 
ones heartfelt sympathy is tendered.
