Mollere, son of Mr. and Mrs. Israel Mollere, of Port Barrow, died at Morley, La., yesterday evening at 6 o'clock, at the age of 27 years and 8 months. The remains were brought to Donaldsonville on the 2:05 Texas and Pacific train today and taken to the residence of his father- in-law, C. A. Ourse, of Port Barrow, from whose residence the funeral took place at 4 o'clock this afternoon, with services and interment at the Catholic church and cemetery. Young Mollere had been employed as clerk in the store of the Morely Cypress Company for some time. He was taken sick recently with fever, and on Tuesday he was found unconscious in his room. The room was in disorder and Mollere was badly bruised, and it looked as if the unfortunate man had been the victim of a murderous assault. A physician was immediately summoned, and after an investigation no evidence of foul play was dsicovered (sic). The presumptoni (sic) is that the fever made Mollere delirious, and while in that condition he tumbled about the room and bruised himself. He died without regaining consciousness. Deceased is survived by his young wife, his father and mother and two brothers and five sisters, to all of whom The Chief tenders its sympathy in their bereavement.
