Gustive Martinez died at Jackson, La., at 4 o'clock p. m. Wednesday, aged 39 
years and 3 months, and his remains were brought to Donaldsonville Thursday 
afternoon and interred in the Catholic cemetery, after services at Ascension 
church. He is survived by three sisters and one brother, namely: Mrs. Camille 
Daigre, of Port Barrow; Mrs. Charles Bujol, Miss Marie Martinez, and Charles 
Martinez, of New Orleans. Deceased was employed as clerk in the Maurin grocery 
store some years ago, and had a wide circle of friends who learned with sorrow 
of his passing away.
