She is survived by two daughters: Mrs. A. J. Sanford of Washington, D. C. and Mrs. Charles E. She was the widow of the late Victor Maurin, who for 16 years was a member of the LaFourche Basin Lee Board and a conductor of numerous business enterprises. The family for many years controlled a number of plantations in this section.
