The young wife of Mr. Louis Melancon, a respected citizen of the Smoke Bend 
neighborhood, died Thursday morning and was buried yesterday. Mrs. Melancon 
was scarcely 20 years of age, we are informed, and was much esteemed by all 
who knew her.
