Rodolph Mollere, a well-known and highly-esteemed citizen of upper Assumption, 
died at his home in that parish at 4 o'clock p. m. Thursday, after an illness 
of long duration, aged fifty years and eight months. The funeral took place 
Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock, with services and interment in the 
Paincourtville Catholic church and cemetery. Mr. Mollere was a farmer by 
occupation, and was prominent in the affairs of the community in which he 
lived. He is survived by his wife and seven children, five sons and two 
daughters, to whom profound sympathy is extended.
