Died. - ORY - At his residence, in the eight ward, Parish of Ascension, Aug. 
7th, 1886, Mr. PHILIP ORY,  a native of East Baton Rouge parish but a 
resident of Ascension for over thirty years.

The deceased was about 57 years of age, well respected in the community in 
which he lived and his death is universally regreted (sic) by his neighbors. 
He leaves a widow and four children to mourn his loss. By industry, economy 
and close attention to business he had succeeded in laying up a competency 
that will sheild (sic) his bereaved family from want now and hereafter.
