(Donaldsonville, La.) 1871-current, October 04, 1919, page 3 Vincent Ourso Laid to Rest. - The body of Vincent Ourso, the young man who died at Flint, Mich., Friday of last week, reached here Tuesday morning over the T. & P. railway, and was brought to the residence of his father, C. A. ourso, in Port Barrow, from which place the funeral took place at 4:30 o'clock the same afternoon. A large crowd of sorrowing relatives and friends attended the last sad rites at the Catholic church and followed the remains to their last resting place in Catholic cemetery. Deceased was a member of Erie Camp, W. O. W., and out of respect to his memory, many of the members of the local camp of Woodmen attended the funeral. Deceased died as a result of blood poison, which developed from a small pimple or boil on his nose. He was taken suddenly ill at his boardinghouse Thursday of last week and was removed during the night in an unconscious condition to the hospital, and despite the best medical attention he passed away the next day. Besides his grief-stricken parents, deceased leaves to mourn his loss seven brothers and four sisters, namely: Judson, Wallace, Louis, Wilfred, Alvan, Roland, and Mrs. J. F. Mollere of Melville, Misses Stella, Anna and Madeline. To the afflicted family the Chief tenders its deepest sympathy.
