Creamer marykcreamer.00@gmail.com March 11, 2021, 10:56 pm source: The Donaldsonville Chief Donaldsonville, Louisiana 16 May 1914, Image 3 Mrs. Ulgere Prejean, nee Ovile Truxillo, a native of Assumption parish, died at 7:30 o'clock Thursday morning at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Sidney LeBlanc, in New Orleans, aged seventy-three years. Her remains were brought to Donaldsonville yesterday forenoon via the Texas & Pacific Railroad and laid to rest in the Catholic cemetery, after services at Ascension church. Deceased had been married twice, her first husband having been Adolph Jumonville, also of Assumption parish. She is survived by one son, Joseph Jumonville; five daughters, Mrs. C. J. Truxillo, of Napoleonville, and Mrs. J. Ruiz, Mrs. Pierre Landry, Mrs. Frank Hidalgo and Mrs. Sidney LeBlanc, of New Orleans; one sister, Mrs. Ulysses Folse, of New Orleans, and a brother, Dennis Truxillo, of Belle Alliance. To the bereaved family The Chief, in common with a wide circle of friends and acquaintances, begs leave to tender assurances of profound sympathy.
