(Donaldsonville, La.) 1871-current, September 10, 1921, page 3 Death of Miss Georgia Prejean. - After an illness of about three months, Miss Georgia Prejean died last Sunday morning at 3:40 o'clock, aged 36 years. The remains were brought to Donaldsonville Monday arriving here via the steamer Virgie at 4 o'clock p.m., and the funeral took place upon their arrival, with services at the Catholic church and internment in the Catholic cemetery. Deceased was a daughter of the late Abel Prejean, who at one time was a sugar planter of this parish of Assumption, and was a neice [sic] of S. Prejean, sugar planter and merchant of Valenzuela, in Assumption parish. She was possesed [sic] of a kind and gentle diposition [sic] and was loved by all who knew her. She is survived by her mother, six sisters and three brothers, who reside in Houma.
