(Donaldsonville, La.) 1871 - current, October 23, 1920, Image 2 Death of Tony Pfister, - Tony Pfister, well known in this city, died at his home, No. 5005 Tchoupitoulas street, New Orleans, Wednesday night at 7:20 o'clock, after an illness of over a year, aged 63 years. The funeral took place in the Crescent City on Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Deceased was a native of Donaldsonville, but for the past six years made his home in new Orleans, where he was engaged in the produce business. He was a son of the late Antoine Pfister and Margaret Scelindwein [Schlindwein], both life-long residents of Donaldsonville. He is survived by two brothers, John Pfister of this city and Joseph Pfister of Plaquemine, and one sister, Mrs. John Harp of Faubourg la Pipe. Both brothers attended the funeral. The Chief condoles with the afflicted relatives in their sorrow.
