Death of Mrs. Joseph Poelstra. - Mrs. Joseph Poelstra, nee Emma L. Wutke, 
died at her husband's home in San Antonio, Texas, at 8:15 o'clock p. m. last 
Sunday, the 12th inst., aged 42 years and 7 months. Her remains were brought 
to Donaldsonville yesterday forenoon and conveyed to the residence of her 
brother, Paul Wutke, in Railroad avenue, from whence the funeral took pace 
[sic] at 4 o'clock p. m. today, interment being made in the Protestant 
cemetery after impressive services at the Episcopal church. Mrs. Poelstra is 
survived by her husband and two brothers, Paul Wutke, of Donaldsonville, and 
A. G. Wutke, of Plaquemine, to whom The Chief begs leave to tender 
assurances of profound sympathy.
