On Monday morning, while on his way to the Netter store, he had reached the postoffice (sic) and felt sick. Shortly thereafter he was seized with a convulsion, which was followed by another and then he expired at 10:30 a. m. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at 4 o'clock from the family residence with services at the Catholic church in Donaldsonville, Rev. Father Chambon officiating. The internment took place in the Catholic cemetery.
