Death of Arnold Ramirez. - Arnold Ramirez, a native of Ascension parish and a 
former resident of this city, died at his home in New Orleans last Saturday 
morning at 1:30 o'clock, after an illness extending eight months, aged sixty-one 
years. The remains were taken to Donaldsonville on the 10:25 Texas and Pacific 
train last Sunday forenoon and conveyed to the home of Mrs. Louis Ganel in St. 
Vincent street, from which place the funeral took place in the afternoon at 3 
o'clock, with services and interment in the Catholic church and cemetery. He is 
survived by his second wife, formerly Miss Angele LeBlanc, and their young son, 
Roland, and two children, Pierre and Leta, of the first wife, who was Miss 
Pauline Maunson, and one brother, Placide Ramirez, of this city.
