Miss Antoinette Schexnaydre.

Miss Antoinette Schexnaydre, a highly esteemed and beloved young lady, sank 
into eternal sleep at the residence of her grandfather, Alidor Waguence, on 
the Stella plantation in the fourth ward of this parish, last Wednesday 
night at 8 o'clock, a victim of influenza. Miss Schexnaydre who was 18 years 
of age, was taken sick about a week ago. Her illness quickly developed into 
pneumonia, and despite the very best of medical care and the kind attention 
of loving and devoted relatives, she passed away. Deceased was a young lady 
of most pleasing personality and kindly disposition and a pious and devout 
Catholic. An aged mother, Mrs. Sidney Schexnaydre, and three sisters and one 
brother are bereft by her untimely demise. The funeral took place Thursday 
at 1 o'clock p. m. Services were held at the Catholic church and interment 
in the Catholic cemetery.
