Death of Mrs. Gottlieb Seifried. - Mrs. Gottlieb Seifried, nee Sophie Benz, a 
native of Baden, Germany, and a resident of this city for fifty-seven years, 
died at 6:30 o'clock p.m. Wednesday, the 15th inst., at the residence of her 
daughter, Mrs. Louis J. Wild, aged seventy-one years, ten months and eleven 
days. Mrs. Seifried was the widow of the late Gottlieb Seifried, a pioneer 
butcher of this section and prior to his death one of the oldest citizens of the 
community.

The funeral took place from the Wild residence in Lessard street at 10 o'clock 
Thursday forenoon, with services and interment in the Catholic church and 
cemetery.

Mrs. Seifried is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Louis Wild, and a large number 
of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, among the former being Gottlieb Wild, 
a well-known young butcher of this city. The sympathy of a wide circle of 
friends and acquaintances is extended to the bereaved family in the hour of 
their grief.
