In Memoriam. - Shaheen Shaib Samaha, aged seventy-five years, died Nov. 2, 
1914, at Juar, Lebanon, Syria, Ottoman Empire. Surviving children: Habib 
Shaheen, Donaldsonville, La.; Amin Shaheen, White Castle, La. and Mary 
Shaheen, Donaldsonville.

Memorial services were held at No. 602-04 Railroad avenue, in this city, 
Friday, Jan. 22, 1915, attended by the Syrian colonies of Thibodaux, 
Napoleonville, White Castle, Plaquemine and Convent, La. (Adv.)
