(Donaldsonville, La.) 1871-current, November 04, 1882, page 3 CORONER'S VIEWS. - On the 26th of October Coroner Vandegriff was called upon to view the body of Jean Hidalgo, a white infant aged 16 days, who died at the Bocage plantation, in the fifth Police Jury ward. After due examination Dr. Vandegriff reached the conclusion that death had been caused by general debility, and a certificate in accordance with the fact was filed. ***On the same day the Coroner viewed the remains of MARIE ROSALIE SIMS, a colored infant one year of age that died in Donaldsonville, and it was ascertained that the cause of death was convulsions. Both of the children were buried by their relatives.
