Mrs. Cecile Comes, widow of the late Joseph St.Martin, a native of 
Donaldsonville and for the past forty years a resident of New Orleans, died 
in that city at 5:20 o'clock p. m. Thursday, Nov. 24, aged sixty-nine years. 
Mrs. St.Martin was the daughter of Thos. Comes, who resided in this city 
before the war. She is survived by two sons, Messrs. Joseph and Victor 
St.Martin, of New Orleans and three daughters, Mrs. Valery Landry of Smoke 
Bend, Mrs. Eusebe Landry of Philadelphia Point, and Miss Emily St.Martin of 
New Orleans. The remains of the venerable lady were brought to 
Donaldsonville yesterday via the 12:11 p. m. T. and P. train, and after 
solemn services at Ascension church were laid to rest in the family tomb in 
the Catholic cemetery. The profound sympathy of a wide circle of friends and 
acquaintances is extended to the bereaved family.

ST.MARTIN - On Thursday, Nov. 24, 1910, at 5:20 o'clock p.m., CECILE COMES, 
widow of the late Joseph St.Martin, aged 69 years, a native of 
Donaldsonville, La., and a resident of this city forty years.

The relatives and friends of the family are respectfully invited to attend 
the funeral, which will take place Friday Evening on arrival of Texas and 
Pacific train in Donaldsonville.
