Death of Mrs. Sosthene Truxillo. - Mrs. Sosthene Truxillo, nee Lodiska 
Cecile Hernandez, died at her home in Assumption parish at 8:30 o'clock last 
Thursday morning, aged sixty-five years, two months and six days. She had 
been in poor health for several months and her death was therefore not 
entirely unexpected, although proving a distinct shock to her family and 
host of friends. Her remains were laid to rest in the Catholic cemetery at 
Plattenville at 9 o'clock a. m. yesterday, the size and character of the 
funeral cortege attesting the high degree of esteem and respect in which 
deceased was held by all who knew her. The surviving relatives include two 
sons, John F. Truxillo, assessor of Assumption parish, and Faustine 
Truxillo; one daughter, Mrs. A. R. Sanchez of Baton Rouge, and several 
grandchildren.
