Died. - TUCKER. - At Orange Grove plantation, Ascension parish, La.,
on Sunday, October 24, 1880, at 4 P. M., D. H. Tucker, aged 28 years,
4 months and 16 days, a native of Milan, Gibson county, Tennessee.

May the bereaved brothers and sisters find consolation in the thought
that Davage bore the fatal disease to which he succumbed with heroic
fortitude and patience, perfectly resigned to the decrees of Providence.

The tomb no chilling gloom to bear,
Tis but the casket resting there;
The spirit dwells in realms above,
Where all is peace, and light and love.
