(Donaldsonville, La.) 1871 - current, October 26, 1918, Image 5 Mrs. Leonce Trepagnier. - Mrs. Leonce Trepagnier, nee Maggie Pfister, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Pfister, worthy citizens of this city, passed away at the home of her parents, with whom she and her husband were residing, in Chetimaches street, yesterday morning at 2:20 o'clock, after an illness of ten days with bronchial pneumonia. The body was embalmed, and the funeral delayed pending the arrival of deceased brothers, Lieutenant Leonard Pfister of Camp Pike, Arkansas, and Private George Pfister, a student at the Long Island aviation camp, New York. The former arrived yesterday and the latter this afternoon. Deceased was a young woman of a sweet and cheerful disposition, noble character and enjoyed the esteem of a large circle of warm personal friends. her untimely demise has cast a gloom over the entire community. Besides her husband and father and mother, she leaves to mourn her loss four brothers, George, John, Jr., Leonard and Alvin, and three sisters, Adeline, Laura and Althea. The funeral took place this afternoon at 4:30 o'clock from the Catholic church, and the mortal remains laid to rest in the family tomb in the Catholic cemetery. the Chief tenders sincere sympathy to the family in their sore affliction.
