(Donaldsonville, La.) 1871 - current, Saturday, October 26, 1918, Image 5 Florentin Truxillo. - Florentin Truxillo, aged 25, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Come Truxillo, presently residing in Cuba, and a grand-son of Confederate Veteran Estave Hidalgo and wife, died at the home of his grandparents, in Assumption parish, last Wednesday morning at 1 o'clock. The funeral took place at the Valenzuela Catholic church and the interment in the Catholic cemetery of the church. Deceased was in the cavalry service of the United States army and was stationed at Camp Logan when he was discharged on account of injuries received while in service. A horse fell on the soldier and he was in the hospital for sometime. After his discharge he returned to the home of his grand-parents. He died from pneumonia. Two of his brothers, Esteve and Benny, are with the army in France.
