Rene Claude, infant son of St. B. Valeton and Marie Vives, died at the home of his 
parents at No. 1216 North Gayoso street, New Orleans, at 1:10 o'clock a.m. 
Wednesday, Sept. 9, aged two months and twenty-four days. The funeral took place 
at 4 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, interment being made in the St. Louis Cemetery 
No. 2. Mr. and Mrs. Valeton formerly resided at Klotzville, in Assumption parish, 
and have a large number of friends in this vicinity who will join The Chief in 
sympathizing with them in their deep bereavement.
