WARNER - On Wednesday morning, November 26, 1879, at Algiers, La., at 10 
o'clock, MARY CECILIA WARNER, daughter of John Warner, aged 16 years and 26 
days.

As blooms the flower at early morn,
Beneath the rising sun,
Ere the closing of the day 'tis shorn
Of its beauty, and its life is done;

Thus passed away this pure young life,
From this world of sin and pain;
From a sphere of woe, a sphere of strife,
In one of peace to reign.

We knew that she is happeir far,
Up in that glorious realm;
That she's as fair and bright a star,
As shines upon Christ's diadem.

Ah! she dwells up there, a lovely Saint,
In the beauteous world of gold;
Without a blur, without a taint,
She joins the angelie (sic) fold.
