Mr. Weil left for New Orleans on the first train Wednesday morning and accompanied the remains of his lamented parent to Monroe, where interment was made on Thursday. He returned to Donaldsonville Friday morning. Mrs. Weil, nee Julia Friedhein, was a native of Landshein, Bavaria, and had resided in New Orleans for the past twenty-six years. To the bereaved family The Chief, in common with a wide circle of sorrowing friends and acquaintances, begs leave to tender assurances of profound sympathy.
