Death of Cleveland Weil.

John Cleveland Weil, aged twenty-three years, five months and two days, died at 
8:30 o'clock yesterday morning at the home of his father-in-law, Joseph Casso, 
in Port Barrow, after an illness of only two weeks. Young Weil was a native of 
Lafourche parish, but had resided in Ascension the greater part of his life, and 
was well and favorably known throughout this section. Funeral services were held 
in the local Catholic church this morning at 10 o'clock and were largely 
attended, many friends of the lamented young man having gathered to accompany 
his remains to their final resting place and pay a last sad tribute of respect 
to his memory.

Mr. Weil is survived by his wife, two young children, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. 
M.W. Weil, and three sisters and two brothers. To these afflicted ones heartfelt 
sympathy is extended by a host of friends.
