Grief Stricken. - The Chief is in receipt of a copy of the Times, published at 
Richmond, Virginia, sent by Judge Charles T. Wortham, containing the 
announcement of the death of his infant daughter, Mollie Peatrus, which occurred 
at St. Luke's Hospital in that city, Friday, August 25. Mrs. Wortham left here 
about two months ago to spend some time with relatives in the Virginia City, and 
while there the little one made her appearance. Life was of short duration. Upon 
being advised of the arrival of his tiny daughter, Judge Wortham left for 
Virginia about two weeks ago, and was present when she passed away. The Chief 
proffers sympathy to the parents in their great sorrow over the death of their 
first born.
