(Donaldsonville, La.) 1871 - current, March 6, 1920, Image 2 Saturnin Waguespack Passes Away. - Saturnin Waguespack, a native of Lafourche parish, but for many years a resident of the fourth ward of this parish, where he was employed as overseer on the Stella plantation of Alidor Waguespack, died at his home Tuesday evening at 6"30 o'clock after a few days' illness with paralysis following an acute attack of indigestion. The funeral took place Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with services and interment in the Catholic church and cemetery, and was largely attended by sorrowing relatives and friends. Deceased was 57 years and 8 months of age. He was the only son of the late Florestan Waguepack (sic), and was unmarried. He was a hard-working and industrious man, of a very quiet and retired disposition. He followed the occupation of farmer all of his life and was considered an exceptioally (sic) good planter. He leaves a large number of relatives and friends to mourn his demise. To them the Chief tenders sympathy in their bereavement.
