Waguespack. - Stanley P. Waguespack of Burnside, a private in the United States army and member of the 59th Company, 5th Group, Machine Gun Division, died at Camp Hancock, Ga., last Monday at 2:30 o'clock p. m., at the age of 23 years, a victim of pneumonia brought on by influenza. Deceased was a member of one of the largest and most prominent families in this section of the state and for several years past was engaged in rice farming on a large scale in this parish as a member of the firm of Waguespack Brothers & Robert. He was a hard working and industrious young man and his death, at the very threshhold of a most promising career. has proven a severe blow to his family and friends. The remains are expected to reach Donaldsonville tomorrow, and will be interred in the Catholic cemetery, after services at the Catholic church. Deceased is survived by his father and mother, six brothers and three sisters.
