[volume] (Donaldsonville, La.) 1871-current, October 25, 1884, Image 3 WINFREE - In New Orleans, Tuesday, Sept. 30, 1884, at 6:15 A. M., James Livingston, youngest son of Henry A. Winfree and Alice M. Durand, aged 6 months and 25 days. To the bereaved parents we extend our most heartfelt condolences, and they have a legion of friends in this community who will sympathize with them in their great affliction. Death at all times is terrible to contemplate, but when his icy fingers are placed upon such a young and tender victim, his hideousness appears all the more poignant and revolting. Sweet little babe, swept away in thy innocence, thou hast gone to the Father's outstreched arms. Too fair for earth, the lovely flower Will deck with grace some heavenly bower.
