(Donaldsonville, La.) 1871 - current, Saturday, July 08, 1905, Image 5 SOBRAL -- AUBERT Joseph Marcelin Sobral, son of A. M. Sobral, a prominent resident of Faubourg la Pipe, Donaldsonville's river suburb, and Miss Ella Aubert, of St. James, were married at St. Joseph's Catholic church in Baton Rouge at noon Thursday, Rev. J. S. Solignac officiating. The bride entered the church on the arm of August Heine and was attended by Miss Bertha Plaisance, of Burton, this parish, as maid of honor. The groom's best man was Peter Stifft, of New Orleans. After the ceremony the young couple left for a stay of several days in New Orleans before proceeding to their future home at Grosse Tete, where the groom is employed as manager of the Steib- Viosca Co.'s stave factory. Misses Evelyn and Jasinta Sobral, sisters of the groom, Miss Lillian Aubert, sister of the bride, and Misses Bertha and Rose Plaisance were among the local people who went up to Baton Rouge to attend the wedding.
