(Donaldsonville, La.) 1871-current, February 18, 1911, page 5 HARP -- BABIN Sidney Harp, a valued young employee of the Lafourche Mercantile Co., and Miss Flossie Babin, the pretty daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Babin, were married at the Catholic church at 5:30 o'clock Wednesday morning in the presence of a small gathering of relatives and immediate friends, Rev. Vincent Scramuzza officiating. The bride was given away by her father, and the attendants were Lawrence Babin, a brother of the bride, and Miss Marie St. Martin. The happy pair left at 6:10 o'clock a. m. via the Valley route for New Orleans, where they enjoyed a delightful stay of several days, returning this morning. They will make their home in Faubourg la Pipe, with the groom's family. The Chief, in common with their numerous friends in the community and elsewhere, takes pleasure in extending them hearty congratulations upon the realization of their dream of happiness and cherishes the hope that their married life will be blessed with unalloyed felicity and unceasing prospeirty (sic).
