BELLE -- BARBIER

Willie Belle, a well known young man of Burnside, and Miss Margaret Barbier, of 
McCall, were quietly married at the home of the bride's brother, E.A. Barbier of 
Ascension plantation, on Wednesday of last week, the 22nd ult., at 2:30 o'clock 
p.m., Rev. Father Gardes officiating. The witnesses were Miss Lizzie Barbier and 
Vincent Belle. At the conclusion of the simple but impressive ceremony the newly 
wedded couple drove to Burnside, where they will make their home near that of 
the groom's father, Joseph Belle, a prominent farmer of that locality. The bride 
is the attractive daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Augustin Barbidr (sic), of this 
parish, and has a host of friends here and elsewhere who will join The Chief in 
wishing her and the man of her choice a long and happy life.
