BARTON -- BEASLEY

A BRILLIANT WEDDING. - Mr. Clarence Barton of St. James parish was married last 
Tuesday evening to Miss Ella Beasley of Assumption. The ceremony was performed 
at the beautiful residence of the bride's parents, on the Attakapas Canal, three 
miles from Napoleonville, and was attended by a brilliant throng of invited 
guests who derived great enjoyment from the festivities that followed the 
nuptials. With feasting, dancing and music the fleeting hours were whiled away 
and it was not far from daybreak when the sounds of revelry had ceased. Mr. and 
Mrs. Chas. Gray supplied the music for the dancing, and also rendered a number 
of operatic selections that were very highly appreciated.
