BREAUX -- BERTHEAUD

Married. - BREAUX -- BERTHEAUD - At the St. James church, St. James parish, La., 
on Thursday, September 1, 1881, James Monroe Breaux to Miss Alida M. Bertheaud.

While enjoying but a passing personal acquaintance with the gallant groom - who 
is manager of the Conway plantation in this parish - we know from the 
reputations he bears among his many friends that he is worthy as choice a prize 
as the matrimonial lottery can afford, and if general report speaks truly, he 
has captured just such a premium. We extend congratulations and wish the happy 
pair a long life of domestic bliss.
