ACOSTA -- CARLIN

Private Willie J. Acosta of Co. B, 142nd Machine Gun Battalion, son of Mr. and 
Mrs. Lucien Acosta, Sr., of Donaldsonville, was married Friday night of last 
week at Gibson to Miss Dora L. Carlin, a popular young woman of that place. The 
young couple arrived here Saturday, and Private Acosta departed for Camp 
Beauregard Sunday night to rejoin his company. The bride will remain in 
Donaldsonville a couple of weeks as the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Acosta, and will 
then go to her home in Gibson to await her husband's return from the war. 
Cordial congratulations and good wishes are extended the happy pair by a wide 
circle of friends.
