(Donaldsonville, La.) 1871-current, March 02, 1907, page 3 LANDRY -- CARY A wedding of much interest to the many friends of the contracting parties in Ascension and adjacent parishes was that of Henry Irving Landry, formerly of Iberville, and Miss Carolyn Elma Cary, of this place, which was quietly solemnized at the Jesuit's church in New Orleans at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. Rev. James de Potter officiated, and only the immediate relatives of the happy young couple were present. The bride is the attractive daughter of Capt. and Mrs. W.S. Cary, and is an unusually pre-possessing and accomplished young woman, with a host of friends. The groom is a scion of one of the most prominent families in this section of the state, and enjoys the good will and esteem of all who have the pleasure of knowing him. Mr. and Mrs. Landry left New Orleans Thursday morning for San Antonio, Texas, where Mr. Landry is engaged in business, and where they will make their future home. The Chief tenders them hearty congratulations and sincere good wishes for a long, happy and prosperous married life.
