Meixel and Miss Annie B. Cotten, both of Baton Rouge, were married recently by Judge Edmund Maurin of this city, in the presence of Dr. Charles B. Maxwell and Mrs. Chas. Maxwell of Iberville parish, personal friends of the couple and Richard Melancon, clerk of court. Dr. Meixel is veterinarian in charge of the United States government's tick eradication work in East Baton Rouge, and the bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.A. Cotten, prominent citizens of East Baton Rouge parish. Dr. Meixel resided here a few years ago, being in charge of tick eradication work n (sic) this parish.
