SHALLOWHORNE -- DAVIS


Calvin Shallowhorne, one of Donaldsonville's Well-known and best-liked colored 
citizens, was married on Tuesday evening of last week to Emma Davis, of Morgan 
City, Rev. Price, pastor of the local colored Methodist church, officiating at the 
ceremony. Calvin has many friends among the white population of Donaldsonville who 
were interested to learn of his marriage, and they unite in wishing him a long 
life of conjugal felicity.
