Creamer marykcreamer.00@gmail.com December 28, 2021, 6:33 pm source: The Donaldsonville Chief (Donaldsonville, La.) 1871-current, September 10, 1921, Image 3 MIRE -- FALCON Edwin Mire of Gretna and Miss Judith Falcon, of Woodside, were married at the Catholic church in this city last Thursday morning at a nuptial mass, at 5 o'clock, Rev. Father George Rapier, S. M. officiating. The bride was given in marriage by her brother-in-law, Claiborne Leroy and Mr. Joseph D. Schaff acted as best man to the groom and Mrs. Joseph D. Schaff, matron of honor to the bride. A number of relatives and friends of the contracting parties were in attendance. After the ceremony the couple left for Gretna, where the groom is engaged in business and where they will make their future home. The bride is a charming and attractive young lady and had been visiting her sister, Mrs. Claiborne Leroy of this city for the past few months. The Chief joins the many friends of the newly-weds in extending hearty felicitations and best wishes for a happy wedded life.
