(Donaldsonville, La.) 1871-current, July 31, 1915, page 3 LANDRY -- GAUTHREAUX Miss Ruth Elma Gauthreaux, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert J. Gauthreaux, formerly of this city, and Walter P. Landry, a well-known young Ascensionite, were quietly married on the 21st instant at Shreveport, where the Gauthreaux family is presently residing, the ceremony being performed at Trinity Catholic church by Rev. Father Bertel at 7 o'clock in the evening, in the presence of relatives and intimate friends. The bride is pleasantly remembered here as a young woman of attractive appearance and gracious personality, and has a wide circle of friends throughout this community who will be interested to learn of her marriage. The groom is a young man of excellent character, who for the past year has been engaged in farming in upper Ascension with Wallace Barron. Mr. and Mrs. Landry will make their home in Shreveport for the present, and are happily located at No. 413 Milam street.
