Ada Gingry were married at the Church of the Sacred Heart at 5 o'clock Monday morning, Rev. Father Crozier officiating. Miss Rowena Gingry attended her sister as maid of honor, and Linden Braud, a brother of the groom, acted as best man. After the ceremony the young couple left for New Orleans, where they will spend several days before returning to Burton, St. James parish, to take up their permanent residence. The groom is a son of the late Henry Braud, for many years overseer on Evan Hall plantation, and occupies an important clerical position with the big Burton-Swartz Lumber Co. His bride is the charming daughter of Widow Andrew Gingry, and is a talented and accomplished young lady. The Chief takes pleasure in wishing Mr. and Mrs. Braud all the happiness that married life can possibly afford.
