CONGER -- HEBERT

Arthur James Conger, a valued attache of the well-known Ascension firm of Picard 
& Geismar, and Miss Marie Elise Hebert, an attractive young woman of Plaquemine, 
were married at the residence of the bride's mother, Mrs. Thos. Hebert, Sr., on 
Thursday of last week, the 6th inst., at 7 o'clock p.m., Rev. J.J. Holtgreve 
officiating. Owing to a recent bereavement in the bride's family the ceremony 
was of very quiet and informal, and was witnessed by only the immediate 
relatives of the contracting parties. Mr. and Mrs. Conger will make their home 
at Geismar, where The Chief hopes they will spend many years in the enjoyment of 
all the blessings and happiness that married life can possibly bestow.
