SCHULER -- ICARD

Married. SCHULER -- ICARD -- At the St. Charles Hotel, Donaldsonville, La., 
Thursday evening, January 13, 1881, by the Rev. Robt. S. Stuart, F. Philip 
Schuler to Mrs. Caroline Icard, both of this town.

We had the pleasure of being one of the small party of friends present at the 
ceremony above noted and at the pleasant repast which followed it, and we echo 
through the columns of the Chief the many good wishes for the future happiness 
of the young couple that were uttered at the festal board, Our handsome friend 
Phillip is a steady, industrious and worthy young man, and is in every way 
deserving of the good fortune that has fallen to his lot, while, on the other 
hand, the fair and comely bride is also to be congratulated upon securing such a 
desirable life partner.
