Boote to Miss Estelle Johnson. No Cards. The writer, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. James K. Tucker, Mr. and Mrs. John W. Tucker, Mr. and Mrs. Jno. C. Green, Miss Emma Boote, Miss Ida Hill, Rev. R. S. Stuart, E. W. Lawless, Ben Gibson, W. E. Bateman, George Boote, S. R. Boote, Jas. E. Johnson and the bridegroom embarked on the Little Minnie and proceeded down Bayou Lafourche to Napoleonville to attend the above marriage ceremony. Promptly at the hour appointed, 4 P. M., the bridal party entered the church which was beautifully decorated with flowers. Rev. R. S. Stuart pronounced the impressive words which made these two loving young hearts man and wife. The wedding was rather quiet, but the church was well filled with the more intimate friends and relatives of the young couple. There were no attendants. the groom is the popular and universally esteemed manager of the Donaldson plantation in this parish. The bride is as fair and pretty a young maiden as Bayou Lafourche affords. I wish them bon voyage as they journey down life's stream. - H. C. B.
